Anthurium (Anthurium andraeanum), also known as the Flamingo Flower or Laceleaf, is admired for its striking heart-shaped “flowers” (technically spathes) and glossy foliage. Native to tropical regions of Central and South America, Anthuriums bring an exotic, elegant feel to any indoor space and can thrive in a hydroponic setup with the right care.

Anthuriums thrive in bright, indirect light. Too little light can reduce flowering, while direct sunlight may burn the leaves. A spot near an east or north-facing window is ideal.
